We’re currently hiring for:
GENERAL MANAGER & BARTENDER for our Pie Counter in Prospect Heights
-minimum 2 years experience in a managerial position, at least 5 years food service experience
-ability to oversee, schedule, train and manage a staff of 6-10 people
-trustworthiness to handle money, banking and payroll
-ability to place orders accurately, manage stock and inventory
-ability dial in espresso, build coffee drinks
-ability to serve beer & wine and converse knowledgeably about our offerings
-be cheerful and outgoing
-be organized and able to multi-task and meticulous in your cleanliness and organization
-knowledge of all DOH standards and our own company standards for food safety and cleanliness
-must posses NYC Food Handlers Certification
-take quality and hospitality seriously!
-enjoy providing good customer service!
-be available for immediate hire for 40 hours per week and available to work weekends
You will also be responsible for plating pastries and pie, preparing all beverages, cleaning and restocking and keeping an organized work area.
We are seeking a candidate who is excited to help grow our new location into a thriving local cafe that offers an early morning coffee atmosphere, a relaxed afternoon environment and an evening bar atmosphere, all with delicious pie, pastries and snacks and drinks.

BARISTA with beer & wine service experience
You will be trained on and responsible for plating pastries and pie, preparing all coffee, espresso and other hot beverages, pouring beer & wine, cleaning and restocking and keeping an organized work area as well as opening and closing tasks.
-ability to dial in espresso, build coffee drinks, pour latte art
-ability to serve beer & wine and converse about our offerings
-ability to plate food items with care and attention to detail
-be organized and able to multi-task
-enjoy providing good customer service
-take quality and hospitality seriously
Must have at least 2 years BARISTA or BARTENDER experience.
MUST be available to work weekend shifts.
